South Perth Wins "Peter Henderson Cup"
Date of Event : Tue Mar 22, 2011 6:47PM

366 days since the passing of Peter Henderson, South Perth wins the Cup named in his honour. We are sure Peter would have preferred a much closer contest but South Perth did it easily in the end in this annual Memorial Match.
Scarborough were bowled out for 139 off 39 overs with Andy Gray mesmorising the gulls batsmen with a blinding spell 10 overs 4/15, plus Hayden Krieg 5 overs 2/22 and Hilton Cartwright 10 overs 2/54.

South Perth chased down the target and scored 2/142 after 24 overs with Hugh Brown domainating the bowling with an unbeaten 78, Fransua Grobler scoring 28 and Captain Marshall Hood chipping in with a solid 24.

A big thanks to Alison Leaver & June Korol for organising the kitchen so that our guests enjoyed the "true South Perth Hospitality" Thanks girls.
